5 – axis machining center

Belotti’s VEGA series machining centers are the result of the long experience achieved in over 30 years of activity in the production of 5-axis machines for milling aluminum and light alloys. This model represents the answer to the strong demand of the leading industries in the railway, automotive and aerospace sectors. The result is a machine that increases productivity and competitiveness, reducing costs. The VEGA combined machining center performs turning and milling of large components of Ø 6,000mm x 80,000mm in length, weighing up to 80,000 kg. This Belotti cutting center performs in particular the machining of carbon and aluminum milling and the turning of the thermal protection (gasket) of the various segments of the VEGA (Italian realization vector for the transport of satellites in orbit). They are CNC-controlled work centers with 5 simultaneous high speed axes that have a motorized mobile bridge structure that runs on the floor integrated runway.
